As conventional way, developers have made several prototypes and finally have commercialized a device through trial and error. However, instead of actual prototypes, computational simulation also gives us a lot of information about a performance of developing device. Therefore, simulation can help to speed up the development period without producing actual prototypes. Now, since new-generation device will become smaller and more complicated, "how to design such a complicated device" should be a key point to save a time for trial and error. To search a direction of designing/feedback, I applied the method called as optimization. Optimization using several design variables and objective functions may bring out the relationship between each parameters and performance/utility of developing device. With that relationship, we can choose the proper feedback on device design. My research is to establish the platform which provides a optimization environment for a complicated devices such as "multi-scale," "multi-phase," and "multi-physics." This platform will help to speed up device development and will lead a rapid correspondence on social demand.
